Terms of Service

Foilbank (“the site”) is an independent fan-built tool for tracking Pokémon Trading Card Game collections. By creating an account or otherwise using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Foilbank.

Who can use Foilbank

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Foilbank is not directed at children under 13. If we learn a user is under 13, we will delete the account.

Your account

  • You’re responsible for keeping your password confidential.
  • You’re responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
  • One account per person. Don’t create accounts to impersonate others.
  • You can delete your account and export your data at any time from Settings.

What you can and can’t do

You may not:

  • Upload illegal content, harassment, or anything that infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to break, overload, or exploit the site or its APIs.
  • Scrape data at scale without written permission.
  • Use Foilbank to sell counterfeit or stolen cards.
  • Post content that is sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.

Content you upload

You keep ownership of your collection data, notes, and uploaded photos. You grant Foilbank a limited license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate the service. If you delete your account, we delete your content within 30 days.

Third-party trademarks

Pokémon and the Pokémon Trading Card Game are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., and The Pokémon Company. Foilbank is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way associated with those companies. Card data and images are sourced from the community projects pokemontcg.io and TCGCSV; card prices are sourced from TCGplayer via those APIs.

No warranty

Foilbank is provided “as is” without any warranty. Market prices are estimates from third-party sources and may be out of date or inaccurate. Do not rely on Foilbank as the sole basis for buying, selling, insuring, or valuing physical cards.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foilbank and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Total aggregate liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid Foilbank in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion. You may stop using Foilbank at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
